3 KWp – £6,000 to £7,000

• A ‘typical’ 2.5KW system would cost about £5,500.
• Sharp solar panels.
• ‘SMA’ inverter.
  • SMA Solar Technology is a German company that make inverters for different ‘clean electricity’ products, for instance PV solar panels and wind energy power plants.
    
• Installation takes about 2 days.
• Cleanup each night.
• Electricity needs to be turned off for short periods of time – not left without electricity overnight.
